Rebuttal of Commonwealth of Massachusetts Civil Service Commission V. Joseph Losano
The following information is a reply to the out dated Civil Service Commission (here and after "Commission") decision that could not be updated until the federal conviction of the former police chief (John Toomey) of Swampscott, Massachusetts back in the year of 2006. I will also explain some misleading facts that have been provided by the Commission:
- Fact # 5. Even though this is a minor distinction I had a Buick Regal at that time and not a truck.
- Fact # 6, 7, and 8. The 209A was issued in June of 1994 and not Jan. of 1995. I have no idea on how this date was established by the Commission. I also filed a Civil Suit in Salem Superior Court on regards to libel from the plaintiff of the 209A. I also included her mother on the suit.
- Fact # 9. This is not a true statement. I only took the exam and never had an interview with the Massachusetts state police.
- Fact # 10 and 11. All the fights that were mentioned was when I was in High School. Capt. Madigan (now chief of police in Swampscott, Massachusetts) and (now retired) chief Toomey admitted ( in depositions) that they also got into altercations in high school.
- Fact # 12. An extremely inaccurate portrayal of my reaction at the interview with New Hampshire State Police (here and after "NHSP") Christopher Scott.
- Fact # 14 and 15. Even though the firearm license was revoked and up held at the district court level a federal law suit was filed and the conviction of the former police chief John Toomey followed. As of 2010 the license to carry was reissued by chief Madigan.
